A Winning Mindset
Are You Choosing Mediocrity or Momentous?
At this point in your life you have lots of experience under your belt, some negative, some positive, and some neutral.
How are you allowing your life experience to shape you and guide?
It’s easy to learn from the positive events from your past, the things that went your way, all the stuff that felt good…they confirm what you are good at and what’s worth repeating.
But what about those challenges in life, the times that dropped you to your knees, the times when you wanted to give up, the times of failure?
Do you use your challenges as proof that life is hard and it’s not worth the effort to keep trying to change and grow?
Are you allowing your past to keep you in a Mediocrity Mindset?
Mediocrity means settling, it’s safe and comfortable, at least more safe and more comfortable than pushing yourself to be your best- whether it’s in your health, romantic relationship, business, or work. Mediocrity is a habit of your mind.
“The human individual lives usually far within his limits; he possesses powers of various sorts which he habitually fails to use. He energizes below his maximum, and he behaves below his optimum . . . the habit of inferiority to our full self—that is bad.” William James
What if you gathered all of those challenges and realized that (even though they sucked) you got tremendous wisdom from them? What can you learn from them? How are you a better person because of them?
Creating a winning mindset is a decision.
What if you decided today that you won’t settle for mediocre in the next phase of your life? What if you decided on a Momentous Mindset?
A Momentous Mindset takes wisdom from life’s difficulties and uses it as fuel to take action towards being better in all areas of life. It focuses on expansion and growth. It sets you free, it excites you for what’s to come. It’s the energy of love and possibilities.
You are amazing and you deserve a life that is fulfilling and joyful.
Let us know what your Momentous Mindset will allow you to do or become.
In happiness,
Julie & Michele
